Policies for pets & clients


	First-time clients are required to have an initial consultation with us, at no cost to you. This is time needed to get to know you and your pets, let you get to know us, discuss your pets' daily routines as well as likes and dislikes, go over your pets' medical histories, veterinarian information and any medication requirements, and obtain information as to other household services you might like us to provide in your absence. We will also discuss our fees and sign a pet sitting contract, and obtain a key and any security codes needed to gain access to your home. This consultation generally takes 30 to 60 minutes.

	Payment is required at the time of service, in the form of cash or check or, if we will visit your pets on a regular basis, we can discuss an invoicing/payment plan. Checks are to be made payable to The Whisker Watcher of Worthington. There will be a $25 fee for any returned check.

	All shots and licenses must be up-to-date.

	We understand circumstances arise causing plans to change, and we will try to be as flexible as possible with schedule changes and cancellations. However, we respectfully request you be sure of your pet sitting needs when scheduling us around holidays, as we try to accommodate as many pets as possible during those times, and we cannot be as flexible as we are other times of the year.
